CITIZEN SIGHTING
Do you think Katniss deserves a perfect 12? At least one citizen thinks so.
Emily Thorne {Emily VanCamp}, whose real name is Amanda Clarke, moves back to The Hamptons to take revenge on the people who caused the death of her father David and destroyed her family. When she was a little girl, Amanda’s father was arrested on trumped-up terrorism charges, and was tried and convicted for treason. He died in prison. Emily feels her life was destroyed; she ended up in juvenile detention and on her 18th birthday inherited the wealth of the company in which her father invested. She changed her name to Emily Thorne and decided to take revenge on the people responsible for her father’s downfall. With this she “falls in love” with the woman and man’s son who she thinks is responsible, Daniel Grayson {Joshua Bowman}. His mother, Victoria {Madeleine Stowe}, and father Conrad {Henry Czerny} with an impending divorce and their daughter Charlotte {Christa B. Allen} falling for Amanda’s childhood love’s brother and finding out they are half sisters, makes for a fast paced thrilled with watchers on the edges of their whatever they are sitting ons.
I’m only afraid of what you’re going to buy because I know you’ll force me to wear it at school or something.

I love reading. I do. I love the Twilight series. And the Hunger Games series. But I love something else besides books/reading. That’s acting. I like to watch people act, especially my friends. But I love doing it myself even more. I’ve never gotten a main role in a production. I would love one, just like everyone else. But I just like being in something. The people in the cast. At the beginning, you’re shy around them. Most of them don’t know you, and vice versa. But as the play progresses, you support each other. You become friends, joke around. Share things you wouldn’t with others. And during the long nights, moments of nerves, you are there for each other. And when the closing night comes, nostalgia hits hard. Some people are glad it’s over. Flowers are showered, along with praise. One last laugh, thumbs up, hug. Then it’s over. All the work, for a few nights.
This is dedicated for my theatre friends. I love you guys. Fiddler Forever.
Phillip Parker, a 14-year-old from Tennessee, took his own life on Friday after relentless bullying because he was gay. His family had reported incidents of bullying to the school, but nothing happened.
Added grandfather Paul Harris: “Because he was gay, he got mistreated physically, mentally by several people out there at the school, and I am very resentful as a result of it. After he did what he did, we found out a lot that we didn’t know and there is a lot of bullying that goes on at the school.”
Tennessee, by the way, has taken some of the most controversial actions in terms of LGBT issues recently. Most famously, the “Don’t Say Gay” bill banning discussions of homosexuality in school is gaining momentum, and lawmakers are trying to change an anti-bullying law to exempt “condemnations of homosexuality based on religion.”
My heart is broken. These tragic stories are piling up again and we need the world to notice. Tell your friends about this. Make them understand why we need to take action against bullying. Get angry. Get emotional. Contact Tennessee lawmakers. Do something. If we don’t speak up, no one will.
Most importantly, if you need help, please call the Trevor Project lifeline at 1-866-488-7386, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You are important. You can get through this. We are here to help you.
Rest peacefully, Phillip. I’m so sorry we couldn’t help you in time.

Why do pictures in black and white look elegant? Why do people drop bombs instead of water balloons? Why do some girls dress with mini skirts and tube tops, while others were long skirts and turtlenecks? Why do people think girls loving girls or boys loving boys is wrong? Love is love. Whether it’s with a 60 year old and an 18 year old, or with someone who is black and someone who is white. Why can’t people just leave love alone. I know I’m usually funny, but I think I really needed to address this. Please, respect love.
